Aerzen Positive Displacement Blowers for oil-free air and gas conveying.
Aerzen Positive Displacement Blowers (of the "Roots" type design) have been manufactured since 1868 and today are highly developed standard production machines designed and adapted for a broad range of applications. The following are some examples Aerzen Positive Displacement Blowers applications:
Pneumatic conveying of bulk materials
In suction- or discharge pressure. Machine sizes range from small blowers installed in tank vehicles to very large ...
Aerzen Screw Compressors are available as oilfree machines in various sizes, single- and multi-stage for the most different cases of application. Oil-injected Screw Compressors also belong to our Sales program. The Aerzener Maschinenfabrik has been manufacturing screw compressors functioning on the Lysholm principle since the year 1943.
Initially, the only types produced were machines that were designed to convey the medium with complete freedom from any contamination by the lubricating oil. In the year 1968, after many years of ...
The repair department stocks quality, genuine Aerzen spare parts for standard machines. In emergency situations, these can be shipped overnight to anywhere in the US. For blowers and compressors, Aerzen has many expediting contacts and can provide door to door service for parts, equipment and emergency needs...365 days a year.

(9) Principle of Operation: Rotary Lobe Positive Displacement Blowers Synchronized by precision ground helical timimg gears, two symmetrical rotors rotate in an opposite direction without making contact. The medium to be conveyed is displaced in a positive manner from inlet to discharge via the chambers formed between the rotors and the housing. At the very moment the rotor tip clears the discharge, the volume of gas displaced is compressed by the backflow from the discharge end. The final pressure automatically adjusts itself to the system’s backpressure.
Pulsations Inherent to Rotary Lobe Blowers The air or gas stream pulsates as a result of its operating principle. Patented in Aerzen blowers, internal ...
(5) Aerzen has been manufacturing positive displacement screw compressors since the year 1943. Initially, the only screw compressors produced were oil-free machines with gears to time and prevent contact between rotors. The rotors are not lubricated and the gas stream is completely separated from the bearings and gear chambers, therefore preventing any contamination of the gas by the lubricant.
Today, these are our VM and VML series for air and neutral gases, and the VR series for process gas applications. In the year 1968, after many years of intensive development work, screw compressors with oil injection were added to the product line: our VMX and VMY series for air compression, respectively, process gases and refrigerants. ...
